The Department of fire and emergency is responsible for establishing and promoting a sound fire and emergency service to the citizens of Mogadishu.

Through investing in risk reduction measures and emergency preparedness planning, the department has been focusing on achieving efficient and effective disaster management systems.

3. Provision of advisory services on emergency preparedness
